Dingle Surf School (7 min walk, Green St.)

Dingle Surf School is the only dedicated surf school in Dingle town. They provide a friendly, safe and fun introduction to the exhilarating sport of surfing. Using their free “surf-bus” they will pick you up from the Dingle Surf Shop (on Green St) and take you north over the breathtaking Conor Pass to their main base of operations on Brandon Bay for an exhilarating day of surfing.


Kayak the Bay (10 min walk, near the Pier, behind Out of the Blue restaurant)

With Irish Adventures enjoy a half-day's sea kayaking in Dingle Harbour, see Fungi the Dolphin at the mouth of the harbor and explore some of the many sea caves. This trip is available to all - beginners to advanced paddlers. Although not physically demanding, it provides a great introduction to sea kayaking, covering basic kayaking skills.          

Swimming (5-20 min drive)

There are many delightful clean beaches within a short drive of Harriet’s Cottage. These include Ventry, Ballydavid, Maharees, Inch and Beanbawn. Bring a picnic basket with some wonderful cheeses and meats from The Little Cheese Shop (on Green St) and you will all have a great day.


Dingle Seafari (10 min walk, at the Pier)

This is an exhilarating and unique way to see the Dingle Peninsula coastline and The Blasket Islands. Beautiful views and possible whale sightings await you.
