Horse riding on the beach or trekking through the Dingle countryside is a great way to spend a day exploring the peninsula. With several stables to choose from, each offering different areas of the Peninsula to explore, you have many options. Here are some of favorites:

Dingle Horse Riding Stables (3 min drive)

Dingle Horse Riding Stables offer superb horses and adventurous rides through the magnificent Irish countryside. Open all year round. The Cnoc a Cairn Mountain Trek takes you into the hills behind Dingle with views of the Atlantic Ocean (see above picture). This trail is suitable for beginners; their horses are surefooted and reliable. They run early morning and late evening trails for those of you looking for something a little different who wish to take advantage of our wonderfully long Summer daylight hours.

Long’s Riding Stables (7 min drive)

Longs Horse Riding Centre is the home to 25 Irish Cobs and only a 7 min drive from Dingle on the scenic Slea Head route, just passed Ventry. Their horse are ideally suited for all level of riders as they have an excellent temperament so join them on one of the treks either on the beautiful Ventry beach or in the mountains. Half and full day rides.

Sea View Equestrian Stables (10 min drive)

Their riding stables are to be found right underneath Mount Brandon where you can see the stunning views of the Three Sisters and the Atlantic Ocean.  At Sea View Equestrian they offer something for everyone, fabulous daily treks and riding holidays, riding instruction, livery, training, clinics, competitions, farm and educational tours. They are proud to offer their services in Gaelic, the Irish language. They also keep a number of sheep, so depending on what time of year you visit us you may see some lambs
