There is a plethora of fun and interesting things to do on The Dingle Peninsula for teenagers. Here are our favorites, the umbrella photo indicates good stops if the weather is bad. Some options may only have seasonal opening times.
Surf School (8 min walk)
Dingle Surf School is the only dedicated surf school in Dingle town. They provide a friendly, safe and fun introduction to the exhilarating sport of surfing. Using their free “surf-bus” they will pick you up from the Dingle Surf Shop (on Green St) and take you north over the breathtaking Conor Pass to their main base of operations at Kilcummin on Brandon Bay for an exhilarating day of surfing
Pottery (20 min drive)
The workshop at the fantastic Louis Mulcahy Pottery (on the Slea Head route) has an open room for you to try your skill on the potter’s wheel. A professional thrower can be seen going through the daily routine of throwing pots, and visitors can try their skill at making the simplest shape. Paddle Boarding (10 min walk)
A very interesting way to discover the Dingle harbor and it's surroundings is on a Stand Up Paddle Board. SUP offers great tours that run daily at 10am, 13:00, and 17:00 from the Marina. See here for more info www.wildsuptours.com
Horseriding (3 min drive)
Horse riding on the beach or trekking through the Dingle countryside
is a great way to spend a day. With several stables to choose from
across the peninsula, one of our favorite is Dingle Horse Riding.
Located only a few minutes from Harriet’s Cottage, it’s a great way
to explore the peninsula

Should hunger kick in there are some places that will keep the teens happy. The best burger in Dingle is behind Dick Mack’s Pub at Chewy & The Beast Here is a link to the top teenage friendly restaurants in Dingle that also include free wifi http://tinyurl.com/Dingle-Family-Restaurant . A great coffee bar to while away the day is Bean in Dingle or if you want Coffee and a great Irish Book Store check out An Café Litertha. And when the sweet tooth kicks in you have to try Murphy’s Ice Cream

Dingle has lots of stores that appeal to all but if you want more mainstream stores (such as Primark, TopShop, Next, TK Maxx etc) then take a trip to Tralee (45 min drive / daily bus also available, see here
Electric Bikes (pick up at Harriet's Cottage)
Dingle Electric Bike Experience offers a unique eco way to discover the
Dingle Peninsula. You can arrange for these unique bikes to be dropped
of to you at Harriet’s Cottage
Dingle Seafari (10 min walk)
An exhilarating and unique way to see the Dingle Peninsula coastline and The Blasket Islands is to take the Dingle Sea Safari tour. Beautiful views and possible whale sightings await you. See here for more info.
Crazy Golf (3 min drive)
This 18-hole course is situated just outside Dingle, on the road to Slea Head (left after the bridge). The course itself has plenty of challenges for golfers of all abilities. There are also ten driving range bays to practice perfecting your swing. Clubs and balls are available to hire.

Gaelic Football (10 min walk)
A fun and distinctly Irish activity is to watch the local Dingle Gaelic
football play. The field is within walking distance, on the road out of
