The 2016 festival will run on Friday 30th September, Saturday 1st October and Sunday 2nd of October. Dingle Road Upgrade
A MULTI-MILLION euro upgrade of the scenic N86 road between Tralee and Dingle that was put on hold due to legal action will get underway in July, Kerry County Council has said. Transport Infrastructure Ireland announced funding of €4 million for the first stage of the plan following the conclusion of High Court proceedings. Building work on the N86 Lispole to Ballynasare Lower and Ballygarret to Camp Road, a 4km stretch of the main Tralee-Dingle route, is expected to begin


Beal Ban Horse Races
ALL eyes will be on Baile an Fheirteáraigh this weekend as the annual Beál Bán Races return to the beach near Ballyferriter. One of the highlights of the horse and pony circuit, the day will see 11 races contested on the silky sands of Beál Bán, starting at 1pm sharp. With a total prize fund of €4,500, a large field of competitors is anticipated from all over Munster and beyond.
